Why did you join NAWIC?

ITo give back to an industry that I have learned a lot from. To support other wāhine in the industry and to have fun/do good work with a lovely bunch of competent ladies, sharing knowledge across the sector.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction?

More visibility across the industry and focus on better outcomes for women/mothers who have plenty of expert knowledge to benefit our industry.

Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of, or considering a career in construction:

It's a very rewarding career path, it builds resilience. There is room to improve on the flexibility of women raising children and support/understanding across the sector.

What is your favourite thing to do for fun:

Anything ocean related, Diving, boating, fishing, also getting into golf!!
