Started my training in 2022, qualified in 2024.

Why did you decide working in construction was the thing you wanted to do:

The idea of working a hands on job, and it being very rewarding, enjoyable work is something that I look forward to everyday.

What are you most passionate about?

Taking good care of my mental and physical health in order to do the things I enjoy.

Why did you join NAWIC?

To be part of a supportive community of strong, likeminded women.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction?

A legal organisation that supports women in construction who are experiencing wrongful treatment.

Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of or considering a career in construction:

It's never too late to start something new. If the idea of it seems scary you're heading in the right direction! follow that passion.

What is your favourite thing to do for fun:

I enjoy going for walks and taking time out to look after myself.
