When did you start working in construction?
I have not previously worked hands-on in construction, but I began working with NAWIC March 2026.
When did you decide working in construction was the thing you wanted to do:
I’d love to help NAWIC grow its online presence and showcase the amazing work being done. I believe it’s important that women feel welcomed and included in the construction sector.
What are you most passionate about?
I’m passionate about telling stories through graphic design, social media, and expressing my own creative flair.
I hold a Bachelor of Design with First Class Honours in Visual Communication, and I love creating work that is both visually appealing and impactful.
Why did you join NAWIC?
Although I have only recently discovered NAWIC, I’m excited about the opportunity to support NAWIC's social media presence and create engaging content.
I really admire the passion behind NAWIC and its mission to ensure women feel they belong in construction. The events also look like a lot of fun!!
What would you like to see for the future of women in construction?
I’d love to see more women pursuing careers in construction, along with more members joining each of NAWIC’s 14 branches.
Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of, or considering a career in construction:
Just like NIKE said "Just DO IT"
What is your favourite thing to do for fun:
Dancing - I began at the age of four and have trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary, as well as exploring other styles. I still try to attend the occasional pop-up class when I can.
I also love the music scene and enjoy going to gigs and festivals.
