When did you decide working in construction was the thing you wanted to do:

For me, working in construction just sort of happened. I had a career spanning many facets of infrastructure over 10 years, when a great opportunity arose in roading maintenance and construction. I thoroughly enjoy working in this industry and have not looked back. 

What are you most passionate about?

Equality and cultivating positive cultures.

Why did you join NAWIC?

Being a woman in construction can be tough - it's great to have a community around you that understand and offer support.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction?

Where being a woman does not hinder roles and opportunities in. the construction industry but rather opens access to them.

Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of or considering a career in construction:

It is important to have the confidence to have a voice and the courage to demand respect.

What is your favourite thing to do for fun:

Hiking and outdoor adventures.
