Why did you join NAWIC? 

Join a great movement of people to create a space for women in construction.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction? 

For construction to be a first consideration as a career. With construction having a large stigma of being only males - I'd like to see construction be a definite topic in question when women decide on a career.

Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of, or considering a career in  construction: 

You're not here to blend in - you're here to build. Blending in might feel comfortable, but progress never happens quietly. Bring your ideas, your perspective, and your spark to the table (or the scaffold). Construction’s not just about putting up walls — it’s about creating spaces, shaping teams, and building futures.

So don’t dim it down. Build it up. 

What is your favourite thing to do for fun: 

Read books, staying active (gym, surfing, golf) and spending time with friends and family.
