When did you start in the construction industry:

Have owned and acoustic window and door company have been in the construction industry for over 30years now and love it!

When did you decide working in construction was the thing you wanted to do:

Purely by accident, I came from the music industry and I just happened to explore some other career options and saw a job posted looking for a sales consultant for an acoustic
soundproofing company.

What are you most passionate about?

Talking with other women in our industry (solar), love also meeting like minded women in our industry and who are entrepreneurial.

Why did you join NAWIC?

Meet other women at a Directors level and also to network and learn more from other women.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction?

More training where possible and also look to our overseas women and what they are doing especially Australia. 

Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of or considering a career in construction:

Make sure you have a good supervisor or person to help you grow in the business and don’t be afraid to ask questions.

What is your favourite thing to do for fun:

Meet with friends, go to the beach go swimming
