As a Work Broker supporting tertiary students, I’m deeply committed to empowering women to build successful careers in the construction sector.

Why did you join NAWIC? 

To strengthen industry connections to enhance career pathways and opportunities for the female students I represent in the construction sector.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction? 

Equal access to opportunities and supportive work environments.

Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of, or considering a career in  construction: 

Challenge the stereotypes - let your work speak for itself. You belong here - it's vital that the construction industry has a diverse workspace bringing non-traditional (male) perspective, skills and ideas.
