When did you decide working in construction was the thing you wanted to do?

I really loved the idea of working in a sector which brought together all the key things I loved - buildings, design and masterplanning, environmental sustainability, urban regeneration, innovation and heritage (especially when I worked in the UK!)

What are you most passionate about ?

Bringing vacant sites to life!

Why did you join NAWIC?

To meet new people when I moved to New Zealand and develop my knowledge of the construction sector.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction?

To keep growing, getting more volunteers involved, attracting more students and trainees into the sector
